NASA is providing an update from its Washington headquarters.

NASA awarded contracts to space firms including Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin and Astrolab to ​send robotic landers, rovers and drones to ‌support the upcoming lunar exploration missions.

As well as being driven by crew, the new vehicles will work autonomously to map the terrain, search for water and shuttle cargo to the Moon base.
