Indian airlines may need to rethink expansion plans as crude oil prices hover at unsustainable levels, even at $90 a barrel, budget carrier SpiceJet Ltd.’s chairman warned.
SpiceJet Chairman Ajay Singh said that Airlines are not in a position to absorb all the costs. He also pointed out that a part of the additional cost will be passed on to airline passengers.
