The Detroit Land Bank Authority (DLBA) has created 1,119 homeowners to date! Launched in February 2016, the Buy Back program allows occupants of DLBA-owned homes to purchase the property while connecting them to public benefits and resources. The first round of participants “graduated” in the summer of 2017. The Buy Back Program was created to provide a path forward for occupants of DLBA-owned houses.
