GOOGLE "the most annoying bird in the world" and you will find KOEL (aka Eastern Koel , Pacific Koel, Storm Bird) at the top of this list. Now you can finally put a face to the repetitive sounds that begin in the early hours of the morning, sometimes before the sun has risen, and continue until the sun has set. It doesn't matter what time it is, the male Eastern Koel will sound out its repetitive monotonous mating call, sometimes hours on end, that will get into your head. NOTE I personally do l
